Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, you will be supporting 400 users for a firm with a very impressive employee retention rate. Your role is brand new due to an impressive 20% headcount growth (YOY).

They will look to constantly upskill you with guidance and support from the wider team. This will give you exposure to the latest technologies as you land in a modern working environment.

Location: Paddington (2 or 3 days WFH)

Salary: up to £35,000 + bonus + benefits

Shift: Primarily dayshift but due to global growth would require 2pm - 10pm availability

Your role as Service Desk Engineer

  • Escalating support calls and providing first-line help desk support

  • Troubleshooting and solving hardware and software issues

  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems are functional

  • To help deploy and maintain assets across the network

  • Monitor Application services and servers

  • Help communicate and train users in line with introduction of new solutions, technologies

Ideally as Service Desk Engineer you will:

  • Windows, Azure and Windows Server

  • Atlassian Products including JIRA and Confluence

  • Cloud Environments including Azure and AWS

  • Incident, problem and change management

  • MS Office 365 Suite

  • Azure hybrid Active Directory, Group Policy - Intune
