Reporting to the Head of Service Management, your role is brand new to the business and will be setting strategy and moulding processes within a recently established ITSM function.
Your role has 2 direct reports and ideally requires you to have a proven background in seamless service transition & integration with a focus on CSI. Ideally you will have exposure in both azure and heavily outsourced environments.
Location: London (WFH with office presence when safe to do so)
Salary: £75,000 + bonus + benefits
Your role as Service Design & Transition Lead:
Ensure seamless service transition and operational readiness for our new cloud-based services.
Play a key role in maturing the Service Design & Transition framework and work with project teams to ensure seamless introduction of new and modified services into BAU.
This role requires working closely with multiple internal teams and our managed service provider(s).
Mature, build and own the Service Design & Transition function
In order to be succesful as Service Design & Transition Lead:
Ideally have experience of managing small teams within SD&T
Managing the move of project deliverables in to operational support for cloud services
Developing Service Support Models, Service Design Packages, Service Definition's & artefacts supporting the go-live of new and updated services
Evidence of working with matrixed support teams to ensure readiness for go-live and handover of new technology in to support
Interpreting and developing contract or Service Level Agreements for 3rd party support provisions
Working in a highly collaborative environment with strong stakeholder management
Highly articulate, professional communicator both verbally and written with a customer centric focus
