Salary: £60,000 -70,000 (plus 20% bonus & benefits)

I'm currently supporting a leading finance company in the UK, who are actively seeking a Service Delivery Manager, as the organisation continues to in-source and built out their in-house IT Services capability.

The Service Delivery Manager will act as the key bridge between IT and the business, ensuring that service is delivered in a smooth and structured manner, catering for business demands in a timely fashion whilst ensuring IT is flexible in its approach.

The Service Delivery Manager will deliver outstanding IT Services through;

  • Overseeing the service delivery function across the group, driving service excellence and ensuring that customer needs are fulfilled.
  • Developing and monitoring SLA and KPI performance metrics to ensure that service delivery can be quantified and measured.
  • Embedding ITIL and equivalent process and procedures within the Group.

Required skills and capabilities:

  • ITIL Certified.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge across:
    • Service Delivery - managing mission-critical IT services, providing operational support and analysis, escalation and communication - incl. Incident Management, MIM, Problem Management
    • Service Management - managing the perception and expectation of the business.
    • Change and Transformation - supporting tactical and strategic IT/Business developments.
    • Governance and Compliance - ensuring IT meets regulatory requirements as outlined by SOX/ISO27001.
    • IT Vendor/Supplier Management.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Experience building out new service delivery capabilities.
  • Communication - A confident individual with strong communication capability that is able to liaise with internal stakeholders (up to the Accountable Executive of the relationship) and represent the focus and priorities of the group to internal and external organisations.
  • Relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
