La Fosse Associates are currently partnered with a client who are looking to hire a Server Engineer into their team, on an initial 12 month contract. This role will be based out of their London office, ideally 2-3 days a week on site, be outside IR35 and paying £450 per day.

We're looking for an Engineer specialising in Azure to join their team in London to support their Azure cloud operations. You will administer, support, and optimise the cloud infrastructure environment and related components. The Azure specialist ensures the availability of client/server applications, configuring all new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and troubleshoot enterprise solutions around Microsoft cloud, within governance and security frameworks
  • Serve as an expert in Azure Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and knowledgeable on Azure Platform as a service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Azure AD, and other Azure service offerings
  • Provide support, migrations, optimizations and deployments for a wide range of Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Machines (VM), management, and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot moderate to complex issues across the breadth of the Azure solution
  • Stay current on Azure and M365 features, capabilities and services across multiple geographies
  • Work with the team to implement, manage and support Azure related virtual infrastructure.
  • Work with the team to ensure stable operation, availability, reliability and service ability of server infrastructure.
  • Analyze and resolve end user application and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage, administrate, and support Windows servers and their associated software and hardware
