Role - Senior Specialist, End User Computing

Salary - £35,500 - £41,500 + Benefits
We are working with a large British-American cruise operator, listed on both the New York Stock Exchange & the London Stock Exchange, they have a combined fleet of over 100 vessels across 10 cruise line brand. Their core business specialises in providing world class cruise holidays, whilst taking enormous pride from bringing to life two of the most iconic brands from Britain's rich seafaring heritage.
Our client is currently seeking a Senior EUC Specialist to join their End User Compute function - The Senior EUC Specialist role is a varied role leading on the implementation and support of multiple technologies while demonstrating a range of soft skills in working with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
As an expert in end user Operating Systems and Mobile Device Management products and services, you will be a problem solver using your strong skills in build and deployment techniques and automation, while proactively looking for ways to improve the way the EUC team work and the services they provide. The role also leads Problem Management techniques on behalf of EUC, looking to improve our overall service by reducing the volume of incidents experienced at source.
The role will also see you involved in projects delivering new and improved technology to the organisations entire estate, both ship and shore, which will require ship visits to some of the most luxurious vessels in the cruising industry.
Additionally, the role will be a key escalation point for the EUC and Service Desk teams, as well as a focal point for all other teams in the Technology department as it relates to end user computing.
Proven experience working in a 2nd / 3rd line Desktop Environment in a similar sized environment
Proven Experience in packaging, deployment and automation tools such as SCCM / Config Manager, and InTune.
Proven Experience in Managing iOS and Android mobile devices via InTune or Workspace One (Airwatch).
Experience working in, supporting, and deploying hardware and software in a hybrid working environment, or to remote workers.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to technical and non-technical audiences.
Microsoft Windows related qualifications
Knowledge of MacOS deployment and support experience.
Understanding of Local Area Networking (WiFi and Wired) and network configuration of end user devices.
Experience with endpoint security products and techniques.
This role is based in Southampton and comes with a generous salary up to £41,500 plus benefits.
