A highly reputable, thriving Fintech business is currently looking for experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join an extremely talent and expanding technology team who are building products that are revolutionising and scoping the future of global and international payments.

The Senior QA Engineer while be a driver of quality across all of their cross-functional software engineering teams. You help to scope and recommend process improvements within the development team to ensure and maintain the highest level of quality. You'll operate within a product engineering squad alongside a Development Manager, Software Engineers and fellow QAs, and will play a key role ensuring quality into the solutions built by the team. You'll regularly partake in agile stand ups and work closely with engineers on testing new features while developing new, and enhancing current test automation tools and frameworks.

What they're looking for:

  • A Strong understanding of agile methodologies within software delivery along with the associated principles and practices of BDD, ATDD and TDD

  • The ability to collaborate with a vairiety of non-technical and technical stakeholders

  • Strong background in test automation across API or UI, ideally using Java, Ruby or Javascript

  • Experience with BDD style tools such as Cucumber

  • Experience using API testing and tools - e.g. Postman, RestAssured, Newman

  • Experience in AWS deployments or deployment tools - e.g. Jenkins

  • Containerisation and management of tools including Docker and Kubernetes would be ideal! but not essential.
