A Senior QA Engineer, skilled in C# automation (web and API) is currently sought by an exciting, rapidly growing consumer focussed/eCommerce brand on their mission to scale at pace and continue to build momentum, growing their online presence in international emerging markets - with a customer base growing extremely quickly!

They require a passionate and skilled automation quality specialist that will develop tests allowing the team to release new features incredibly quickly and setting the highest standards of quality. The current testing efforts are outsourced and they are beginning to expand internally to increase intellectual capital within the team and introduce a shift-left approach to automation testing. They are currently in the early stages of building out their London based engineering team; this person will work directly with the Head of QA, driving automation and taking plenty of ownership in their work. As the team scales, you will be a key contributor and help them build the team while mentoring junior members.

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts, executing them through their Azure DevOps pipelines. Suitable candidates will have excellent, proven experience across full-stack automation including C#/Selenium and C# for back end API testing. The have a great office space in Holborn, London with a Hybrid remote working model (3 days per week in London - indefinitely).

Key requirements:

  • Strong hands-on automated experience across front and back end with relevant tooling (C#, Selenium)
  • Well versed in Agile practices and CI/CD
  • Azure DevOps experience
  • Performance and Security testing - desirable
  • BDD/TDD experience would be ideal
  • BrowserStack experience - desirable
  • Excellent communicator and ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
  • Eligible to work in the UK
