Senior Project Manager – Group Change & Transformation

Remote (UK-based)
12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC), with potential to go permanent
Competitive salary + benefits

We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead a high-profile business integration and operating model programme that spans multiple subsidiaries within a group structure.

This is a fully remote opportunity to shape the future of how our group operates—simplifying structures, aligning processes, and enabling scalable growth across diverse business units.

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple Target Operating Models (TOMs) designed to unify and streamline group-wide operations. Working across business, finance, HR, and technology functions, you’ll coordinate delivery across regional and subsidiary teams, ensuring consistency, compliance, and strategic alignment.

You’ll play a key role in integrating newly acquired businesses, reducing duplication, and enabling better collaboration and agility across the group. Your focus will be on robust planning, stakeholder engagement at executive level, and delivering meaningful change that improves performance and readiness for future growth.

You’ll join a transformation-driven team committed to building a modern, agile, and integrated organisation ready for scale.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Transformation

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of TOMs aligned to business strategy and transformation goals
  • Oversee planning, governance, and budget management across concurrent workstreams
  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting to executive and senior stakeholders
  • Translate complex data into accessible insights for leadership
  • Ensure documentation (RAID logs, delivery plans, stakeholder maps) is up to date

Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment

  • Build consensus across business units with competing priorities
  • Influence senior stakeholders to drive decision-making and unblock delivery
  • Coordinate with cross-functional delivery teams and external suppliers
  • Support business readiness for new processes and operational models

Governance, Risk & Readiness

  • Manage RAIDs across projects and support change landing within the business
  • Ensure robust governance and compliance at every stage
  • Present materials at steering groups and leadership meetings

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Project or Programme Manager, ideally within complex, matrixed, or regulated environments
  • A strong track record delivering Target Operating Models (TOMs) or large-scale operating model change across multiple business functions
  • Excellent planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging executive leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and familiarity with key project frameworks such as Agile, PRINCE2, or hybrid delivery models
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, track financials, and align delivery with business objectives
  • Fluency in delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Asana

Nice to Have:

  • Experience leading or supporting ERP/system transformation projects (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, ADP)
  • Working knowledge of core HR and Finance functions, including payroll, GL, AP/AR, and performance processes
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, MSP, AgilePM)
