Role: Senior Project Manager
A Senior Project Manager is required to join a life reinsurer that has experienced rapid growth across the globe and provides a wide variety of services.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join an ambitious 5-year business transformation programme to deliver projects within five main workstreams including people change, process, data & insight and enabling & automation.
Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of projects through full project lifecycle including planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential risk and issues
Aid the development of the transformation roadmap by identifying and planning proofs of concepts to be piloted in each phase
Maintain relationships across teams and with Key Stakeholders at all levels
Facilitate strong collaboration across teams and departments
Develop and maintain a project plan for cross-functional teams
Manage a team to ensure that people, resources, and processes are aligned with business needs
Work closely with the PMO to implement project status and budget tracking reporting
Ensure that project documentation is maintained, and standards are adhered to
Produce regular status reports and provide written and in-person updated to Key Stakeholders and Steering groups
Requirements:
Experience of business change project management
Prior data/technology experience is welcomed
Previous experience leading projects end-to-end
Comfortable using a variety of delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Ability to communicate at all levels across the business
Experience with mainstream project management tools
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 based on experience + bonus and benefits
Location: London-based, hybrid working
