Title: Lead Product manager

Salary: £70,000-£90,000

Location: London

The company:

My client is changing the way people send money abroad. They've taken something complicated and made it simple. Tap the App or click on their website and your international transfer is made - to a bank account, cash pickup, Mobile Money, or airtime top-up. Founded in 2010, they send international remittances from 50 countries to more than 150 countries and we continue to expand our footprint.

They have grown on average by 50% year on year and are now processing over £3bn of remittances on an annualised basis. They have raised c.$200 million in funding, currently employ over 750 employees and have offices in London, USA, Philippines, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and other locations.

Responsibilities As a Product Manager, you'll:

● Develop a clear, coherent product strategy for your product area. You'll have a strong focus on delivering business value and user value

● Own and drive the metrics for your area, helping us identify what success looks like and how to reach it

● Use your initiative to lead your product strategy. You'll collaborate across the organisation to collect ideas and problems to solve, but you won't be an 'order taker.'

● Maintain a roadmap in-line with your strategy, then follow through on it by writing clear user stories, prioritising features, bugs and tech debt appropriately

● Work closely with the engineering team to have a detailed understanding of the problems, opportunities and potential solutions

● manage stakeholders - you'll know when to listen, but also have the conviction to deliver hard messages

● endlessly pursue a deep understanding of the customer, informed through research and data analysis

Summary of required experience & attributes

● You build strong relationships with your development team and scrum master, work to good agile practices and collaborate effectively with product design.

● You're a natural leader. You lead initiatives from ideas to delivery. You help the team deliver with an MVP mindset, but still build towards and share longer term visions.

● You have a good understanding of relevant technology, how it applies to our business. You use this information when making trade-off and priority decisions.

● You have strong experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

● You have a proven track record of being a great communicator, working with different stakeholders from across the business.
