The construction industry is both highly archaic and outdated when coming to recruiting top talent. Quite often, labour and gig workers arrive onsite with minimal experience and produce "cowboy-like" results. Uprate Digital are a new and exciting start-up designed to disrupt the industry and change the way that this is done.

The company are totally re-designing and re-inventing the way that construction work is completed, meaning that fully qualified and engaged workers are performing to the best of their ability.

As a Full Stack (React / Node) Developer, you will get the unique opportunity to build, design and maintain the necessary elements to create fluid webpages for the business. All of which will be built in React, Node, Typescript and AWS. Experience using DevOps, Python and MySQL is beneficial.

What technologies do you need experience in?

5+ years using React / Node
React Router / Redux
GraphQL / REST for APIs
Selenium / Jest / Mocha / Unit Testing
Cloud Technologies ideally AWS however GCP or Azure is also great!
MySQL / Database experience

What will your day to day be?

Designing and delivering large scale fault tolerant systems using React and Node.
You will be working within a small, agile team of developers so there is a great opportunity here to get stuck in!
You will be heavily involved in the growth of the team, which is key to the business's success, over the next 2 years the plan is to double the technology team so ensure these appeals to you before applying.
