Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / AWS) - Early Stage Start-up - £650 per day - OUTSIDE IR35

Currently looking for a Senior Backend JavaScript Engineer, that specialises in Node.js, AWS, API's and has some Front End experience with React.js. #

The client are in the PropTech industry, and are currently building their platform from the ground up, so it's a really great chance to get involved from the discover and initial stage.

You will be the solo Engineer, working with a Product Owner and the Founder. It is essential you have extensive experience as a Backend JavaScript based Engineer, with strong communication skills and an overall expertise across the Full Stack.

The client require a candidate that can visit the office due to team collaboration (the team is small), at least 1-2 days per week. The office is in Central London.

We are looking for the best Backend JavaScript-based Senior Engineers with the following skillset:

  • Strong experience with Node.js

  • Strong experience with AWS

  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress.

  • Commercial experience using React.js (React hooks, components) and Redux for state management

  • DevOps & CI/CD Pipelining experience

  • Experience with C#, Java or Go is also welcome

The position is of a hybrid working model, and is paying up to £600 per day for an initial 6-month engagement, with a strong potential of extending. This contract is OUTSIDE of IR35.
