Data Security PM

Logistics firm require a Security PM with extensive experience delivering Data Governance and Data Security Projects in the drive towards becoming a data led, decision making organisation, playing a central role in the data transformation programme.

The position entails overseeing the DLP programme to promote adoption and comprehension of data loss policies, engaging with stakeholders, chairing meetings and monitoring progress on actions and driving the DLP agenda internally. Providing input to stakeholder meetings, challenging non-conforming behaviour and acting as conduit for changing the culture to ensure data security becomes second nature.

Day Rate: £517pd
IR35 Status: Inside
Duration: 6 months initially
Travel: Ad hoc to South East

The Data Security PM will require the following experience:

• Security Project Manager with Data Governance and Data Security delivery experience to create and upkeep a data catalogue and labelling framework, ensuring clarity and classification on available data assets, their flow, lineage, usage, ownership and control/governance.
• Classification and Labelling of Data in order to prevent Data Leakage across the business
• Put policies in place and uptake of SharePoint and OneDrive usage across the business
• Microsoft Purview experience would be a nice to have
• Help co-ordinate meetings, engage Stakeholders and keep the programme running on track
• Help the company change peoples behaviours in how they save and share data across the business (not just IT) and ensure to restrict non-conforming data
• Achieve and deliver deliverables form the project plan
