Security Architect

Blue Chip Firm require a Security Architect to join their Security Transformation Programme. The candidate will be a capable Security Architect with Extensive Security Architecture knowledge and a deep understanding of Technology and Information Systems Security, to work across all areas of Information Security.

The Security Architect will have the following experience:

  • Have been responsible for the assurance and governance of security across major Security Transformation programmes or IT implementation projects
  • Assessed and explained internal cyber risks when defining an improvement programme. Able to work with project delivery teams to deliver secure solutions
  • Recommend security controls and identify solutions that support the business objective
  • Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems in an agile tech environment.
  • Provide Security architecture technical authority for IT Security technology projects.
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
  • Contribute to enterprise level Architecture Principles Design from the information security perspective.
  • Solution designs for the following:
    • Network security and controls for on-premise and hosted data centers and hybrid-cloud environments (e.g. WAF, NIDS/NIPS, network admission control, content filtering, wireless protection, micro-segmentation, etc.);
    • Data Loss Prevention (information classification, labelling, data discovery, scanning, control for data in transit, in use, and at rest)
    • Anti-APT technology (e.g. deception management, AI based attack detection, etc.)
    • Advanced Endpoint Security solutions (e.g. EDR, HIPS/HIDS, host-based firewall, media control, application control, host DLP)
    • Privilege Management Infrastructure (e.g. identity management, user directory services, /federated/ authentication services, authorization services, policy enforcement, privileged usage management),Intellectual Property Protection;
    • Cryptographic services (e.g. public key infrastructure, certificate and encryption key management, hardware security modules);
    • Automated compliance testing, vulnerability management, threat management.
