What is the job and what is required?
This role will give you the opportunity to take a lead on testing/automation while shaping the wider team and they are looking for somebody with the desire to do so. As such, experience as a senior level Test Automation Engineer/SDET is what they need.
The role will encompass Quality Assurance and Testing on a range of software delivery streams (web, desktop and mobile applications over cross-browser/devices, Azure cloud platforms, and back-end functionality - including APIs).
With 6 years plus QA Automation experience, you will also be skilled in writing automated functional and integration tests in C# (Selenium or similar) and JavaScript/TypeScript (Cypress or similar) as well as strong knowldeg and experience across web/UI and API automated testing.
Notably, it will be highly useful and advantageous if you can bring any financial services/investment technology experience to the table! (but not essential).
Your time will be split between working from home and two days per week from their Central London HQ (they are soon to be moving to a brand new office space near to Liverpool Street, EC1).
What's the Process?
If you like what you've read or even want to know more, apply or speak with me (joe.noon@lafosse.com).
As for interviews, they will all be done remotely. The first stage will be a general chat to discuss your previous and current projects. It will also be an opportunity for you to hear more about the role and company from an Engineering leader.
The second stage will be a more technical-based interview with an engineering leader and 1-2 members of the technology team.
When will this close?
We are going to be kick-starting interviews as of 27th March. However, we do anticipate this to be a very popular role so please don't hesitate to apply.
