SAP Support Analyst - Central London - (£50k)

We are currently working with one the UK's leading property consultancy. They are looking to for an experienced SAP support analyst to manage the day-day end user support across the full range of deployed solution.

The successful candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, organised and pro-active with good computing skills, excellent administration skills and the ability to adapt to a wide range of tasks. They will also have a "hands on" attitude and possess the necessary skills, manner and experience to provide an effective support service to the department/office.


  • Triage of new support calls as they are raised.
  • Monitoring and management of all internal and external support calls and tickets (across Finance, HR and Payroll). Liaise with and coordinate any necessary resources to make sure calls are resolved in a timely manner. This includes working closely with our third-party support partners
  • Agree with business owners the priorities and required-by dates for all support tickets. Ensure third-party service levels and focus reflects these priorities and dates
  • Regular reporting of current and historic status of support tickets
  • Planning of regular bug fix/enhancement releases into production. Preparation of end user notes to support each release
  • Coordination and testing of all bug fixes/enhancements prior to final business sign-off and release to production.
  • Working with the HR and Finance leads and key business users to develop and maintain standard functional scripts to support testing of all upgrades and changes
  • Tracking and testing of routine SAP service pack and kernel upgrades (client and server)
  • Liaison with our internal IT Department Change Management processes

Skills Required

  • At least 5 years experience of working in a SAP support environment
  • Experience of the following SAP modules: FI/CO, SD, PS and HCM
  • Ideally, experience of SAP Personas, BW, BOBJ, BPC and payroll
  • Ideally, experience of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management
  • Transport of simple changes through our development, QA and production landscape
  • Familiarity with the use of system support ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with change and release management processes in a SAP environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
