SAP Data Transformation Director

About the Role

A global FMCG company is embarking on a major data-driven business transformation to strengthen its enterprise-wide data capability. This initiative is focused on building a high-quality, robust data function that empowers the business with trusted, accessible data across all markets and functions.

This transformation is about reshaping how the organisation owns, manages, and uses data. The programme spans culture change, operating model design, technology enablement, and delivery of scalable data products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-stream global data transformation programme
• Oversee business and technical workstreams from strategy to execution
• Drive change in how data is governed, owned, and used across the organisation
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions and markets
• Shape and deliver the future data ecosystem and data product roadmap
• Guide the implementation of data access frameworks and self-service capability
• Support the creation of external data-sharing strategies and agreements

Key Requirements:

• Experienced Programme Director/Transformation Lead with a strong track record in large-scale, global data transformations
• Strong leadership across both business and technical teams
• Background in FMCG or manufacturing sectors
• Familiar with enterprise data platforms including Azure and Databricks
• Exposure to Salesforce and SAP from a data integration or reporting standpoint
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, cultural change, and operating model design
• Experience handling external data sources and implementing data-sharing agreements
