Sales Manager

Our client provides venues with the ability to radically improve indoor mobile reception without needing to rely on the outdoor mobile network. With more than 85% of calls and internet access on mobiles indoors there is a huge space within the enterprise market for this product offering.

You will report into the Head of Sales and typically target venues that are between 100k sq ft - 300k sq ft - this product works for all of the UK's MNO's (3UK, 02, EE & Vodafone e.t.c)

The Role:

As the Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing and managing new venue relationships in order to grow the pipeline of opportunities and ensure the successful growth of the Company's' newly launched business. You will hold full accountability for researching, targeting, lead generation and prospect management I order to successfully contract with venue partners.

You will manage the process from initial research through to developing venue relationships via outbound calls and attending prospect meetings. Providing support and being involved in the negotiation and completion of contracts will also be part of your roles, additional day-to-day activities include:

  • Working with the Head of Sales/Senior Sales Manager to create sector specific sales plans to drive prospect engagement and sales execution
  • Proactive engagement with venue prospects
  • Delivering against sales and pipeline targets
  • Broadening the existing venue partner base and increasing market share by raisint awareness of the product offering
  • Presenting ideas and defining new strategies for sales pipeline growth
  • Adopting a consultative approach for client engagement, through a robust qualification process you will provide accurate forecasting of the sales pipeline
  • Developing a targeted and long-term BD strategy for the identified market segments
  • Identifying target prospects and key stakeholders within those organisations
  • Creating BD sales materials, proposals and assist in the creating of online social content to rise awareness in the market

The right Sales Manager will have:

  • A track record of successfully creating, growing and managing a pipeline of opportunities
  • A proactive sale driven background and knowledge of relevant sales and business development methodologies
  • A strong focus on closing a deal with the ability to overcome objections throughout the proves
  • 4 years + experience within a Business Development Role (ideally in the wireless sector or similar)
  • Knowledge of successfully engaging venues on a commercial basis
