AI is changing everything and every organisation. Companies of all sizes need to form an AI strategy and get on with deployment, however the current options of consultants are expensive and searching the web for immediate answers becomes a project.

Our client has already become a global leader in AI. The mission is to democratise access to expert AI advice and accelerate adoption whilst ensuring safe and responsible deployment. Their AI Advice platform provides a completely new way of accessing expert advice on AI that is simple, fast and affordable.

They are now looking for a passionate, creative and successful Sales Director to join the team and help build the leading AI event globally.

The Role

  • Driving new business, as well as closing existing leads across enterprise, SME'S, Public Sector and Tech Vendors
  • Working closely with the founders and sales team to close deal sizes of £50k to £500k, meeting the client's specific goals and requirements for event engagement
  • Consistently meeting targets and revenue goals, keeping an organised pipeline and forecast
  • Converting all inbound enquiries as well as going to market to deliver strong growth and exceed targets for revenue growth
  • Driving a culture of data-driven decision making, working with insights and knowledge from our platform to create the best solutions for clients
  • Collaborating with marketing to ensure cohesion across messaging and the event
  • Leading weekly sales meetings to keep the production team up to date with deals

You as a candidate

  • Will have proven success in a sales leadership role, preferably within the events industry
  • Will have proven success working with enterprise clients, SME'S, Start-ups on both buy-side and sell-side
  • Are passionate about technology, excited about the future of artificial intelligence and able to engage in detailed conversations on the topic
  • Have the confidence and emotional intelligence to be able to speak to multiple different stakeholders of varying seniority
  • Be detail-orientated and able to create persuasive and engaging sales material
  • Have excellent prioritisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Are energetic, passionate and a strong communicator
  • May have start-up experience and thrive on the fast-paced environment of a growing company
