Job Description

Our client has rapidly grown from a team of 3 to 45 in just a few years with the aim to have 70+ by the end of this year. Following a profitable and successful year, they are now looking for somebody to come in and take over from the current Commercial Director who is relocating to another office.

As the Sales Director you will be responsible for EMEA, you will initially inherit a team of three Account Managers and as the business grows you will recruit, build and manage the sales team. This role is responsible for:

  • EMEA opportunities which will predominantly be inside sales including renewals and new business
  • Forecasting/Delivering monthly sales and performance targets for EMEA region
  • Responding to any inbound enquiries (as a team)
  • Board reports and commercial updates to the Global Commercial Director
  • Conducting performance reviews of your team
  • Adding new partners within key EMEA markets
  • Developing and refining the sales processes, GTM strategies and regional pricing

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Working on all leads no matter the size, meeting both your individual sales and team targets
  • Qualifying potential leads and opportunities before committing our client's resources
  • Working with existing key accounts to open related opportunities within groups and large enterprise
  • Following qualification, schedule calls with potential customers to learn more about their requirements and deliver demos
  • Help expand the network of partners by finding new ones and checking in with those that are existing customers
  • Attending trade shows and conferences to promote the business to potential clients
  • Outbound cold contact with strategic targeted partnerships
  • Leading weekly commercial meetings with Account Managers whilst maintaining KPI metrics

The right candidate will have the following experience:

  • 5+ years of management
  • 5+ years in Direct Sales
  • Comfortable with complex B2B software licensing, negotiations and contracts
  • Strong presenting skills
  • Business Acumen
  • Knowledge of API management
  • Strong technical knowledge
