Landing in a fully digital, Microsoft Azure cloud-based environment, you will be joining a well-established Financial Service Provider on their journey to transform the way their products and services are delivered.

As Release Manager you will be responsible for the ownership and governance of release activities, building frameworks for the effective and safe delivery of change.

Location: Reading

Salary: up to £80k + bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle

  • Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates

  • Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected

  • Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software

  • Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.

What you will have:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as Release Manager

  • Proven track record of agile change and release management techniques and communicating results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, preferably in an agile, CI/CD environment

  • Third Party Supplier and Vendor Management experience

  • Good communication, delegation and prioritisation skills
