Our client, a renowned global loyalty and benefits company, are actively hiring a QA Lead position on a permanent basis based out of their London tech hub (Hybrid).

While specialising in Financial Services, Travel and Retail, they also support clients in multiple other sectors across 170 counties.
As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency of the testing processes initially; then across to impacted systems to significantly increase the frequency and stability of feature releases to the organisation.
What you'll do:
Own the Testing process and associated methodology
Automate tests and release processes to significantly increase the frequency and stability of releases
Develop the team and team members to be a high performing, efficient unit
Work closely with the Test team to ensure testing within the squad teams is supported, efficient, and best practise is implemented and continuously improved upon
Review/contribute to strategies, approaches and plans
Provide QA resource estimates to new initiative plans
Build a working relationship with other Development Leads and SME's and provide support to them
Continuous review of QA efficiency within the squads and seeking ways to improve
Continuous review of supplier testing processes and looking for opportunities to provide efficiency improvements
Keep abreast of new testing tools, technologies, and methods, and seeking to implement where increased efficiency can be achieved
Review performance, complete appraisals, and objective setting
Requirements:
Experience as a Test Lead on successful project implementations in a software environment
Experience of developing a QA Team and improving performance and efficiency of the team and individuals
Demonstrable experience of building a well-rounded test structure including manual and automated testing
A breadth of experience in agile software development fundamentals and lifecycles including open-source test automation tools and frameworks
Advocate and evangelise for best practises like Test Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
Experience with Stakeholder Management
Technical skills required:
Extensive experience with Test Automation Frameworks (SpecFlow, C#, .NET)
Experience with JavaScript automation (Angular, Cypress)
API testing experience (Postman, Swagger, RestSharp).
Understanding of PaaS, SaaS and serverless technologies in AWS or Azure
Testing of Serverless APIs (AWS Lambda / Azure Functions) and tooling to support
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration of these pipelines (Team City / Octopus)
Non-functional testing experience (Performance, Security)
Familiarity with Data Lake concepts
Proven leadership skills with experience with performance reviews and objective setting
Usage of Jira (Epics, Stories and Defect Management)
