We are seeking a seasoned BA Lead with extensive experience in technology-driven projects to coordinate and lead a team of Business Analysts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of project management and business analysis skills, enabling them to establish standards and frameworks for the BA team and actively contribute to the program leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership and Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10-12 Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to ensure alignment with project goals and individual development.
    • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  2. Project Management and Coordination:

    • Oversee and coordinate technology-driven projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
    • Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
    • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
  3. Standards and Frameworks Development:

    • Establish and maintain standards, methodologies, and best practices for the Business Analysis team.
    • Develop and implement frameworks that ensure consistency and quality of analysis and documentation.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate them into BA practices.
  4. Program Leadership:

    • Actively participate in the program leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business analysis activities with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market trends.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations.
    • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the BA team to ensure clarity and alignment.
    • Represent the BA team in meetings and discussions with senior management.
  6. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
    • Track and measure the impact of changes and initiatives on project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading and managing a team of Business Analysts.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex business problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficient in using business analysis tools and software.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) is highly desirable.
  • Public Sector experience highly desirable.
