Title: Project Manager
Location: Remote ~ AdHoc travel.
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Overview
We are currently partnered with a healthcare organisation who are looking for a Digital project manager to join the team on a permanent basis. You would be responsible for the delivery of a series of key Information Technology (IT) application initiatives from inception to completion.
You would also be supporting the Digital Director in the design of the application roadmap and related solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Working with the Digital Director build out the application roadmap including the next level of detail around requirements.
- Project manage the selection phase of key solutions on an end to end basis.
- Negotiate with suppliers and partners to deliver a project plan including design and build, testing, data take on, rollout to pilots and post implementation support.
- Design and build phase two and beyond elements to increase geographic and functional spread of the solutions.
- Execute and project manage the agreed plans, in line with Project Office protocols.
- Provide comprehensive reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure governance is implemented and maintained across the project lifecycle.
- Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks across the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder management at all levels, internally and externally, and management of various 3rd parties.
Person specification
- An experienced project manager who has a successful track record of delivery of company-wide or significant IT projects.
- A project management professional qualification (PMP/ PMI/ Prince2/ etc.)
- Excellent experience across risk and issue management, ability to push through set backs across the project lifecycle.
- Good written and verbal communication skills combined with good negotiation and relationship management skills are required.
- Experience in multi-location rollouts of people related applications.
- Experience in a health and social care setting preferred.
- A background in business analysis or implementation management (Desirable).
- Business Change experience (Desirable).
- Communication and engagement experience (Desirable).
