We are working on a Technical Project and Engagement Manager opportunity with a London based professional association who are going through a period of transformation and technology change.

They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Management specialist to plan, oversee, and deliver their technology roadmap which includes the procurement of new systems, and execution of major changes and continuous development of existing platforms.

The role holder must have a deep understanding of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), with hands-on experience in managing network, infrastructure and IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the successful delivery of technology projects, including the resolution of complex technical issues.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to best practices from design through to deployment and maintenance.
• Lead the development and management of the technology roadmap, encompassing needs assessment, process analysis, and project management.
• Partner with the CTO to develop and execute their technology strategy.
• Actively engage with group divisions to understand and address their technological needs.
• Act as a Senior Business Partner ensuring that strategic technology needs are met and service standards are maintained.
• Ensure that all technological solutions align with group objectives, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects, with a strong emphasis on software development projects and life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience and Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, Cloud-based technologies, System process improvement.
• Experienced in running weekly programme boards, conducting RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) reviews, and maintaining rigorous governance over project delivery.
• Extensive experience working with technical teams, including systems development, support, and infrastructure, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technology solutions.
• Experience in analysing and re-engineering business processes to drive efficiency, improve performance, and align with strategic goals.
• Expertise in defining, tracking, and managing a portfolio of projects and development activities, ensuring they align with business priorities and deliver expected outcomes.
