Job Title: Programme Manager

Location: London/ Hybrid

Salary: £90,000 - 95,000 + Benefits

Programme Manager is required to join a publisher-broadcaster industry. Working within a dedicated IT Service management team, The Programme manager is responsible for Management of all technology strategic projects from Inception through to delivery. Your primary duties will include setting programme goals, tasks, and timelines, reviewing progress and adjusting as necessary. Your will need to be able to influence and collaborate with our suppliers to deliver our strategic projects.

Key Objectives:

  • Delivery of the company's technology transformation programme, ensuring that our projects are delivered within time and budget
  • Influencing and governing both internal and external delivery teams to drive best practise and improvements
  • Excellent Mitigation and skills and Risk management
  • Implement Standardised Governance and Structure around Project management processes and delivery teams
  • Working Collaboratively with Architecture and internal business Vertical aligned teams to understand the programme of work for the forthcoming year aligned to the technology road map
  • Management and prioritisation of project pipeline


  • Creating a method for monitoring the progress of a company's programmes and improving efficiency
  • Creating new programmes according to the strategic objectives of the organisation
  • Developing strong relationships with team members, vendors, and partners
  • Managing resources and ensuring timely delivery of programmes through governance
  • Supervising and coordinating activities of the parties involved in the programme
  • Preparing reports and updating Programme Directors and other stakeholders about the programme
  • Resolving issues with management and stakeholders
  • Confirming successful delivery at the programme's completion
  • Financial control and governance across the Technology delivery road map

Essential Skills:

  • AGILE, PRINCE or similar programme management qualification
  • 5 years' + experience delivering high quality IT programmes
  • Experienced in project prioritisation and estimation
  • Ability to provide clear updates and reporting at all levels
  • Excellent understanding of RAID management and escalation
  • Extensive experience of working with Managed Service Providers
  • 5 years recruiting and overseeing project teams required
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work with all levels including executive management
  • Transformation Programme experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize, and analytical capability
