Programme Director - Birmingham - Blue Chip Consultancy Background - c. £100k + Package

La Fosse are partnered with a leading Consultancy in Birmingham to appoint a Programme Director reporting in to the COO, and be accountable for internal and external project delivery. The position will take line management responsibility for the Heads of Projects, Change and Technology.

The Programme Director must ensure implementations are delivered on time and within budget while meeting the required quality standard(s). These outcomes are met through the application of best practice methodologies and robust delivery skills focused on implementing the businesses innovative solution seamlessly.

You will be responsible for managing the scheduling and delivery work within the client's organisation, including the correct usage of methods and assets, including the management of other in-house Subject Matter Experts including; Technology, Process & Change and Supplier Onboarding Solutions.

The organisation is a high growth, innovative consultancy. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual from a consultancy background who is seeking a Birmingham based position within a forward-thinking business, where you can make a real difference.

Ideal candidate:

  • Be conversant with delivery practices in at least one blue chip management consultancy.
  • Significant experience managing complex programmes which involve cultural/organisational change.
  • Significant change / transformation experience. This includes having led a change programme in a large complex business, including system implementation workstreams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills up to board level.
  • Be demonstrably confident when dealing with uncertainty and the ability to challenge without being unnecessarily adversarial.
  • Have strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills and the ability to deal positively and effectively with any resistance to change.
