Product Manager roles at Castle Trust are amongst the most exciting across our ~200 strong team.

Working from within the Technology & Projects team, each Product Manager will be aligned to a business unit or function which includes: Mortgages, Consumer Credit, Investments, Shared Services (Finance, Risk & Compliance, Legal, HR) & Deposits. You will be working with the business stakeholders as their technology strategy and delivery partner, responsible for four key deliverables:

  • Technology vision, in particular the systems required to underpin and enable the business unit's plans over the next 12-36 months
  • The technology and product roadmap that delivers the vision in a managed, timely fashion
  • Intensive work with the technology team, particularly software engineers, to elaborate on requirements and drive timely delivery
  • Oversight and optimisation of business as usual change and operational processes

The role is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the business unit understands what capabilities it requires, and these are delivered in an effective, efficient and agreed way.

Product Managers may come from a software engineering background, having augmented their delivery experience with project management and business analysis skills to allow them to act as an effective bridge between engineers and business stakeholders.

Others will have come from an operations, analysis or project management background but have a deep understanding of how to work and communicate effectively with engineering teams.

ou will be working closely with the technology senior management team, alongside, amongst other product managers, Head of Engineering, and Head of Service & Operations. You will report to the Head of IT Strategy & product Management and attend company-wide senior management team meetings, representing the operational and technical interests of your aligned business unit as well as the Technology & Projects team.

The team's approach is very much one of high pace urgency, combined with the need to deliver extremely high quality & robust software; with success being measured by safe, sustained and high-quality delivery.
