The Role
As a business unit within the overall group, our client is considered a mid-late start-up given that the product-market fit has been proven. In addition, they have a client base of 2,000 schools using it already across the Nordics and northern parts of Europe with 40,000 pupils learning through the platform. The business has a very high NPS score, highlighting the success the business has already enjoyed and proves the effectiveness of the product.

What is now required is to take the business into the 'volume' take-off stage of growth, pushing the business into a highly profitable state.

 

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be someone who has accomplished this feat before. An entrepreneur who has catapulted a business to the next stage of growth.
This person will have full ownership of the go-to-market strategy for Product, working with smaller teams and therefore needs to be a versatile leader, encapsulating a founder's mentality.
Given the absolute precedence of the end user experience, this role will require the individual to have a firm knowledge of digital product development and a user-centred design thinking.

 

Requirements:
• Experience of scaling proof of concept product to volumes and profitability, setting strategy for product and go-to-market, and execution of said strategy
o Ideally experience of Chief Product Ownership
• Demonstrable experience in devising and implementing clear and innovative digital strategies and initiatives.
• A blend of being both very capable at a hands-on level in understanding and utilising data, with the ability to translate the findings into a targeted and strategic marketing plan.
• Must demonstrate a clear passion for product and adopts an ethical and entrepreneurial approach.
• Experience of managing agile product development teams, understanding product development cycles and technology development
• Proven track-record in working within an environment that is heavily orientated around lead generation.
• Experience of mentoring and coaching
• Strong stakeholder management abilities, influencing diverse network of stakeholders
• Inclusive servant leadership enabling teams to perform
• Experience and/or strong interest in education and enhancing learning and teaching

● Someone who has high integrity and who is flexible, dependable, responsible, and empathetic
● Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking abilities are necessary for this high-paced role
● Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills are a must.
