Job Title: Portfolio Manager

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + 20% Bonus

Location: Central London

Project Portfolio Manager required to join one of the UK's largest hospitality businesses. You will report into the Head of Change and be accountable for leading an experienced team of permanent and outsourced programme and project managers. The Portfolio Manager will also work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO)to ensure effective Project / Programme Governance and control.

This is a key role for the business whereby you will be responsible for three distinct business portfolios. You will ensure that all business change and technology projects are effectively prioritised, resourced, managed, and embedded into the business to realise their target benefit.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background operating as a Portfolio Manager, Programme Manager is essential
  • Previous background working within Retail, Hospitality, Leisure and Entertainment is highly desirable (however may also consider other Customer focused environments)
  • Line Management Experience - 3+ Project Managers, with additional contract resource
  • Accountable for the delivery of a broad rang of business change initiatives (often with a Tech component) that impacts customers and back office systems.
  • Effectively manage the dependencies and prioritisation of the business change programme with senior stakeholders across the business
  • Experience of leading projects with significant digital / tech components
  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage the change portfolios, ensuring the appropriate project governance and reporting performance and benefits realisation to the business.

This is a effectively a No.2 to the Head of Change with autonomy to help shape and define the delivery framework from scratch and also help build a team up to serve the business for all change projects. Please click apply if you are interested!
