Role summary

The PMO will be supporting the Technology & Projects team on their upcoming banking license application. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the operation of the Programme Management Office (PMO)
  • Assisting the ongoing development and revision off the programme baseline and alignment of all projects and key changes within the programme
  • Stakeholder Management up to C-level
  • Supporting the maintenance of effective PMO programme / project tools to aid in process standardisation (project reviews, reports, templates, knowledge management etc.)
  • Actively working to embed PMO methods, tools and processes across the programme
  • Supporting with identifying resourcing requirements to meet programme and project objectives.
  • Working with Project Managers to provide support and advice on programme/project planning, execution and tracking
  • Working to embed existing governance and delivery processes and establishing a mindset of continuous improvement to create a high-performance culture
  • Overall project administration
  • Developing and implementing performance metrics and measurements to track performance acceptance, cost and probability
  • Estimating budgets and detailed tracking of spend for individual projects across the portfolio
  • Ensuring the project progresses on schedule and within budget

Key skills and experience

  • Experience within a bank (either inhouse or through a consultancy)
  • 2-3 years PMO experience
  • Varied and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Strong experience working with PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with a VOP programme
  • Experience with pivot tables on excel
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of project management tools
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
