PMO/ Portfolio Office Manager/ Programme Manager required urgently for a leading insurance company based in Surrey.

This is an initial six months contract paying up to £500pd.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Execute and embed governance processes across the programme.
  • Maintain the budget, resource plan and the programme level risks and issues log.
  • Facilitate reporting and communicating both project progress and key risks and issues
  • Support the Project Managers' responsible for the establishment of a project methodology to incorporate standards, processes, documentation and reporting which fits the needs of the project and puts emphasis on the quality of decision making and timely project delivery.
  • Support the Programme Manager to maintain the programme roadmap,
  • Support the Project Managers create and manage the project plans.
  • Manage the process to review and approve 3rd party invoices.

MANDATORY

  • Previous experience as a Project, Programme or Portfolio Office Manager
  • Understanding and knowledge on project management
  • Experience managing a portfolio budget
  • Excellent decision making and analytical skills
  • Excellent communicator and the ability to build and establish relationships quickly
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

BENEFICIAL

  • A background in project management, or managing small projects would be beneficial
  • Experience in managing resource allocation
  • Portfolio Management experience
  • Strong MS Project skills
