LFA Public Sector Transformation Practise are supporting a complex project within a public body and are looking for a PMO Manager to join our established team on an initial 6 Month contract.

Essential

  • Relevant demonstrable experience of working on complex programmes in a PMO Manager role.
  • have developed and implemented standards, tools, processes and systems for successful programme delivery with the ability to adopt the most appropriate methodology to ensure successful delivery including Agile practices. Further, you will have the experience necessary to mentor and advise those in the project delivery profession.
  • In-depth expertise of establishing effective governance regimes spporting different methodologies, together with insightful reporting and briefing techniques. Forward looking, proactive and able to effectively manage critical path activities, removal of blockers and change requests
  • A track record of prioritising and delivering outputs in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
  • Expertise in interpersonal and communication skills with a proven record of establishing, building and maintaining strong, collaborative and productive relationships across functional and organisational boundaries.
  • An expert at effectively managing relationships with senior stakeholders, producing clear advice and influence on complex issues.
  • An expert, focused on delivery of outcomes, who can work under pressure, respond quickly and decisively to changing circumstances and to a tight timetable.
  • Proven ability to organise a complex workload, to prioritise, and manage rapidly changing demands and priorities but essentially to model positive behaviours that reflect the corporate values and culture.
  • Hold one of the following : Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile Project Management Practitioner, Management of Risk Practitioner, P3O Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes Advanced Practitioner, APM Registered Project Professional accreditation

The post holder will have line management of a number of direct reports. You will also be expected to deputise for and represent the Programme Director, as required, and contribute to corporate responsibilities as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
