PMO Data Analyst

We're currently looking for a PMO Data Analyst experienced in Power BI for a fantastic opportunity within an government agency working with Health and Social care services.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong Power BI development and configuration skills

  • A good understanding of central PMO functions and services

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Stakeholder management and facilitation skills

  • Public Sector expereince desirable


  • Delivery and Leadership - Provide visible and effective leadership, working with the Programme manager to deliver the Business Case benefits and outcomes.

  • Resources - Identify future project / programme / departmental capability and capacity needs to put strategies in place and deliver them.

  • Stakeholder Management - Manage and influence senior relationships across projects, the department and across government. Build strategic relationships with internal and external suppliers. Advise the project team on appropriate tools and techniques for managing stakeholder relationships. Provide assurance to the programme manager on the effectiveness of stakeholder management arrangements.

  • Risks and Issues - Establish the Programme processes and standards for managing risks and issues. Provide assurance to the Programme Director on the effectiveness of Risk and Issue management arrangements

  • Governance and Assurance - Ensure appropriate governance is in place and arrange external reviews at appropriate points in the lifecycle. Monitor effectiveness of controls and ensure that recommendations from external reviews are acted upon.

  • Change Management - Establish and implement protocols to manage the change of the scope of Agile Teams and/or Programme and update configuration, resource, planning, budget and RAID documents as required.

  • Project Performance and Controls - Develop effective programme control frameworks and strategies. Create a culture of continuous improvement and learning from experience. Identify interdependencies, common capability and opportunities across projects, programmes and the organisation. Identify common capabilities and opportunities for linking up, re-using and sharing of methods and resources and drive implementation to realise efficiencies.

  • Guidance and Support - Ensure continuous improvement of project management processes and standards within the department, drives innovation and introduces the latest ideas and learnings from professional bodies and academic research. Provide direction and guidance across the department and government
