Position: PMO Coordinator

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + Package

PMO Coordinator required to join a leading FTSE 250 association based in Basingstoke. The organisation is going through a major restructure and are at the start of a large IT transformation. They are driving innovation across the business to ensure they stay ahead of their competitors.

You will be responsible for creating and improving a consistent and effective approach to project, programme & portfolio management. This will involve tracking/reporting, assurance/quality control, information management, financial tracking, risk/issue tracking, change control, support and knowledge management/learning from experience. The role will require strong stakeholder management skills as you will be working with the C-Level suite and various other business units. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to present/communicate complex technical problems.

Ideal candidate:

  • Proven experience operating as a Programme Office Analyst, PMO Analyst, PMO Coordinator or Project Coordinator is essential
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting large portfolios and programmes of work (between 50-100 projects)
  • Understanding of PMO stage gates
  • Proven experience running projects through the full SDLC & Project Lifecycle
  • Experience with SharePoint or a Central Repository tool
  • Experience producing RAID logs and governance reports
  • Ability to work with 3rd party vendors (onshore/offshore)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
