Job Title: PMO Analyst

Location: London/Manchester (Hybrid - 2x a week in office)

Contract type: Permanent, full time

Salary: from £37,000 - £41,000 in London/£32,000 - £36,000 in Manchester

Reports to: Senior Portfolio Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMO Analyst to join one of the largest housing associations in England with requirements in London. They have recently formed a Corporate PMO and are looking for an engaging and proactive analyst to drive effective decision-making to support their corporate strategy.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Provide expert reporting, portfolio analysis, PMO assurance and support, to enable compliance, data driven decisions and high-quality project, programme and portfolio performance.
  • Assimilate, manage and analyse complex data, and make data-based recommendations. Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to provide agile and proactive PMO analysis end to end, to ensure successful portfolio outcomes.
  • Taking complex programmes and projects and applying portfolio management techniques to translate these into information that colleagues from across the Group can understand.
  • Resource planning management, working with leads to identify, capture and analyse resource requirements.
  • Support governance reporting cycle, reporting and assurance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Established experience of 3 years+ as a PMO Analyst ideally in housing/local authority
  • Strong experience and knowledge of PMO techniques, including reporting, governance, benefits/risk/issue/resource management, and assurance tools, methodologies and best practice.
  • Experience of project and resource planning in the context of change and project management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate and influence at all levels
  • Strong IT skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office/365, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project tools/software.
  • Soft Skills - Proactive, learnability, team player and innovation
