Platform Support Engineer

Position: Platform Support Engineer
Salary: £41,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Milton Keynes/Remote

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Build an environment that promotes a first-class user experience
  • Troubleshoot issues relating to end user and server platforms, ensuring all incidents and service requests are resolved within SLAs
  • Play an active role in transforming and supporting the Digital Workplace and any Digital Transformation initiatives
  • Responsible for the build, configuration and lifecycle management of all end user and server assets
  • Ensure our on-premise and Azure Active Directory are kept up to date and maintained
  • Support the administration and evolution of Office 365, including user management and licensing
  • Responsible for procurement and inventory of IT assets, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
  • Continually develop and maintain the Windows 10 provisioning platform ensuring software packages are continually updated and security policies are complied with
  • Monitor, support and maintain the end user infrastructure in accordance with the Incident, Major Incident and Problem Management processes with a focus on driving down repeat tickets
  • Hold regular problem management meetings to identify and implement proactive fixes to repeat issues
  • Comply with all legal and Company policies and procedures regarding health and safety to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.
  • Comply with all applicable UK and Ireland Data Protection and ePrivacy legislation and report non-compliances where identified to the Data Protection team
