My client is looking for a talented PHP Developer with strong experience in Laravel and Vue.js, who also brings solid experience with testing best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful projects in a supportive, forward-thinking team.

Experience & Skills Required:

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience

• Strong experience with modern PHP (8+) and Laravel

• Solid frontend development with Vue.js (Vue 2 or 3), including component-based architecture

• Experience writing and consuming REST APIs

• Proficient in TDD and automated testing, particularly using PHPUnit

• Familiar with end-to-end testing tools for Vue (e.g., Cypress, Vitest, or similar)

• Excellent understanding of MySQL, relational database design, and query optimisation

• Strong grasp of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and scalable design patterns

• Comfortable with Docker, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines

• Bonus: Experience working with Redis, Queues, or AWS services

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and developing scalable, secure applications using Laravel and Vue.js

• Writing robust unit and integration tests using PHPUnit and other testing tools

• Working within a TDD-first development approach to ensure high code quality

• Collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers on full-stack features

• Participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions
