Payments Project Manger - Gibraltar

La Fosse Associates are working with a leading Bookmaker who are seeking a Permanent Payments Operations Manager, based out of Gibraltar.

This role will be reporting directly to the Head of Payments & Fraud and will be well suited to a Payments Project Manager who can provide oversight to the payment operations of the client's entire digital estate.

This role will be well suited to a Change & Transformation expert with significant understanding of product innovation, implementation and delivery of complex payment projects and supporting products to ensure the continuous adaptation in relation to continuous market changes.

The successful applicant will be able to provide deep subject matter expertise in the above areas and will be commercially minded and have a strong influence on supporting new market access and continued growth in existing regions.

Required skills/ experience:

  • 5 + years' experience in a similar role or having worked with Payments Project Delivery

  • High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.

  • Experience of advising management in multiple locations.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a wider project team.

  • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to understand complex projects relating to Payments.

  • Coach, collaborator, communicator, and organiser with superb interpersonal skills

  • Demonstratable project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy; able to work in a fast-moving environment with hard deadlines.

  • Experience working with complex team, delivering results which lead to first class outcomes and optimizing/minimising risk of regulation/business change.

  • An ability to negotiate, challenge and influence internal peers using multiple inputs, logic, and experience to deliver both tactically and strategically.

  • Thrives when working with multiple projects simultaneously across locations, teams, and stakeholders.

  • Comfortable with taking the lead on the big decisions and following through on delivery.

  • Willingness to learn and be 'shadow'/represent the Director of Payments both internally and externally.
