P2P Business Analyst

A P2P business analyst is required for an initial 3 month contract based in London.

The firm is implementing a new source to contract (S2C) and procure to pay (P2P) system. The project requires immediate support of a Business Analyst an understanding of and/or experience in P2P and/or P2P systems implementations. The role will be a critical member of the team, contributing to the success of the overall programme and will involve building strong relationships with other functions and the wider Firm.

Required Skills:

  • Highly skilled Business Analyst with experience working in a complex organisation, previous experience working in a Partnership preferable.
  • Experienced in P2P implementations (ideally with Coupa).
  • Process mapping and modelling experience
  • Requirements engineering experience
  • Experience of supporting UAT
  • Benefit identification and Business Case experience

Responsibilities:

  • To support the facilitation of workshops during project Start Up and Initiation phases, and document the outputs and decisions.
  • To understand the needs of the business in order to document the scope and high level requirements for a project or initiative
  • Translation of the agreed business needs into detailed requirements for submission to another team or 3rd party supplier.
  • Facilitate any negotiations between users, project teams and other interested parties to arrive at an approved set of requirements
  • To manage the changes to requirements, recording all change requests, assessing the impact and ensuring that all change requests go through the change management process
  • To validate the written technical solution/design documents and participate where required in the user testing requirements of the solution.
  • To work with other teams or 3rd party's to agree the solution design document for the Business function.
  • To coordinate and validate the Functional Specification and ensure 'traceability' to the detailed requirements
  • Set-up and support the business in conducting and managing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, including development of required UAT documentation, e.g. Test plan, Business test scenarios and test scripts etc
  • To review any contractual documents with 3rd parties, such as SoWs, to ensure consistency with Scope/Requirement documents
  • To ensure that all stakeholders are able to correctly interpret all aspects of the project by ensuring that requirements, decisions, designs, issues and other related activities are fully and un-ambiguously documented and communicated.
