Network Infrastructure Engineer

Role: Network Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Chichester & Andover (Occasional travel to other sites in South)

Salary: up to £50,000 plus benefits

We are currently working with a global manufacturer who are recruiting for a Network Infrastructure Engineer. The role will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of their network infrastructure.

Required Experience:

• At least 5 years’ experience within an IT infrastructure architecture or maintenance role
• Experience of design and/or implementation of cloud technologies
• Knowledge of IT practices such as ITIL
• Experience with onsite contractor management
• Knowledge or experience of:
  • Wireless technologies
  • Active Directory, DHCP, GPO, DNS
  • Exchange Server and Office 365
  • Networking – LAN/WAN/MPLS, VPN, Firewalls
  • VMWare
  • Anti-virus software
  • Back up technologies (Veeam preferable)
  • Web and Email filtering systems
  • Telephony platforms
  • Windows Server 2012 and above
  • Network Hardware:
    • Routers: Cisco, Ubiquiti, Juniper
    • Switches: Cisco Catalyst, Aruba, HP
    • Wireless Access Points: Aruba, Aerohive, Ubiquiti, Cisco Meraki
    • Network Appliances: DNS Servers, DHCP Servers, proxy servers
  • Network Monitoring and Management Tools:
    • Site24x7
    • PRTG Network Monitor
  • Network Security Technologies:
    • VPN: FortiClient, Cisco AnyConnect, OpenVPN
    • AntiVirus/Anti-Malware: Sophos Endpoint Protection
