Network Architect

La Fosse are currently partnered with a customer who are looking to hire a number of Network Architect / SME’s into their team, on initial 6 month contracts.

These roles are paying £650-750 per day, inside IR35 and based out of the customer’s London office. In an ideal world they are looking for 2 days a week onsite, but they can be more flexible for the right candidate if needed.

Key experience across F5 and Checkpoint is really important.

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco NXOS, IOS-XR, Cisco hardware, Juniper Hardware and JUNIOS software, Accedian Network Interface Nodes, Ixia test generator, IP Routing and Switching.
• MPLS experience, working knowledge of IP Firewalls, IP Load balancers and IP Multicast
• Strong working knowledge and experience with: TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, Cisco NXOS, IOS-XR, Juniper JUNIOS, LAN/WAN, Service Provider/Extranet networks, Ethernet switching, including VPC/VSS, BGP, EIGRP, SNMP, L2/L3VPN, MPLS, QoS, Traffic Engineering, Network Service Orchestration and IPSEC
• Experience with NFV, Service orchestration (NSO) and programmable networks
• Experience with service automation and network transformation.
• Experience with developing standards and network testing, software and hardware certification and qualification, writing test plans and producing network test reports.
• Experience with hands-on Cisco IP Routing/Switching design and implementation in a service provider environment.
• Broad knowledge of cloud services – Azure, AWS, GCP
