To support the organisation in their journey, we will also need to transform our IT; renewing solutions & platforms to make them fit for Digitization (e.g. Data Management, Analytics, ERP backbone), and introducing new technologies & capabilities to push us to the front of the pack and beyond our competition (e.g. Self-Service Analytics, Predictive, Big/Agile Data insights, In-memory).

The Role:

The MDM (Master Data Management) Technology Senior Lead collaborates with internal teams, process leaders, technology partners, and commercial teams to design and implement technical enterprise MDM solutions that enable the Data Transformation through Digital Foundations program. This position is responsible for the enterprise MDM platforms & tools, their integration, their architectural design, build and overseeing migration from AS-IS to TO-BE. Essential is experience designing & delivering enterprise scale MDM platforms leveraging the modern SAP stack (S4/MDG/IS/Data Services/HANA, etc.)

KEY OUTPUTS

MDM Platform Technical Leadership & Delivery

  • Responsible for translating strategic business needs, and high level reference architectures into technical architecture & level of detail to be built.
  • Actively contributes to the Data Strategy and Enterprise Architecture definitions, based on experience and industry trends insights. Works to evolve standards and best practice.
  • Leads and directs virtual teams of Technical/Analyst & Solution Architects and outsourced resources to build and deliver next generation Data landscapes
  • Coaches and mentors junior associates pursuing a technical/expert career path and in their day to day work
  • Owns and maintains logical and physical data architecture design artefacts
  • Serve as the technical lead and senior architect on proof of concept (POC) and follow-on activities relating to the broader initiative
  • Ability to be "hands on" with technology if needed to test, modify, and execute solutions to achieve expected outcomes and guide junior & 3rd party resources.

Must Have: MDM, SAP MDG, integration experience
