Marketing Manager (Product)

My client, one of the fastest growing marketplaces, is looking for someone to step into the role of a Product Marketing Manager. They are on an impressive growth protectory, with very ambitious plans for this year, so we are looking for an ambitious marketer with a desire to move into a more product facing role.

Having scaled from 50 - 200 people in just under 2 years', this is an opportunity to join a fast-moving, and exceptionally talented team, in which would provide mentorship and training.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrable some experience of maximising business value from digital products, working with key stakeholders to create the vision, priorities and deliver product roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the digital product project team and 'in particular' the Lead Digital Product Owner, by providing further vision and direction for improving the online customer journey at Instant.
  • Help to drive the continuous improvement of three websites for the Instant Group (, and alongside language variants of the websites and subdomains
  • Maintain communication with key stakeholders within the business who require the delivery of features to assist their business channel.
  • Champion a SCRUM agile framework as part of project delivery, including the use of Kanban, stand ups, retrospectives etc…
  • Translate, and document EPICs, user stories and acceptance criteria fit for software development.
  • Own the prioritisation of development and content initiatives based on user need and business gain, communicated through product backlogs on JIRA.
  • Define test acceptance criteria, monitor quality assurance testing and manage user acceptance testing within Instant.
  • Check that content for the website and digital communications is fit for purpose, with an eye for SEO and online content optimisation.
  • Perform competitor analysis as well as demonstrating an ongoing interest in industry and technology evolutions and innovation.
  • Enhance user journeys using our site optimisation tool (Optimizely X) with the intention to continuously drive improved conversion rates and understanding of CRO should be second nature.
