A well-known TV broadcasting company who have over 70 TV & Radio channels are looking for a Lead JavaScript Engineer skilled in Node, React and AWS to join them and build scalable Cloud Services and fantastic User Interfaces.

You will be joining and leading a diverse, cross functional team who all share a passion and obsession for all things tech.

The goal is for you to:

Create a fantastic user experience for the million of users that use their platform.
Support with maintaining highly scalable Microservices, there to support millions of requests every day.
Take ownership of maintaining the excellent Unite, System and integration tests.
Have an obsession to detail in order to create amazing User Interfaces and/or Cloud Services.

Ideally you will have:

A Focus on Front-end/UI JavaScript technologies - React, Node.js and TypeScript
Experience leading a cross functional team as well as experience running stand-ups and sprints.
Champion good testing practices following TDD or doing unit testing, pairing/code-reviews.
Worked in an Agile environment running stand-ups and sprints.
An Architectural approach.
Good stakeholder communication
A desire to work on new features supporting the backend and product team.
