La Fosse Associates are currently partnering with the world's leading financial services careers website who are looking to bring on a top-class Data Analyst with a strong Tableau and SQL background.
The role is born out of a desire to support the continued rollout of company data tools and assist in the gradual upskilling of the company's operational teams via support in access and development to self-service data sources and business intelligence/analytical transformation. You will own and help contribute to the strategy around company reporting systems.
This role will be multifaceted, with a core focus on growing an existing Tableau reporting environment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Be responsible for growing the usage of Tableau reporting environment by assisting end users troubleshoot, build, and adapt business intelligence requirements.
- Structure business problems and recommend visualization solutions via suite of different reporting tools
- Support advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.
- Own and advocate for the sales reporting suite supporting initiatives to increase engagement with clients via data and reporting tools and business intelligence.
- Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users / business analysts to define technical and process requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders across multiple global teams, providing support and assistance in requirements gathering and ongoing support for the existing reporting suite.
Job Qualifications
- Experience in analytics roles in digital or website companies focusing on product, sales & customer service and digital marketing analytics.
- Strong background in structural business intelligence reporting delivery using SQL.
- Strong skill competencies in Tableau workbook building and integration configuration, Google Analytics and relational Databases (Redshift, SQL Server, BigQuery, etc).
- Ability to administrate Tableau environment including managing user access, managing refresh schedules and intimately understanding and championing the pipelines that generate these data.
- Understand the value of self-service data systems, assisting in the development of new insights from data taxonomy and cross-system data modelling.
- Knowledge of hosted internet businesses and a wholistic understanding of the data sources relevant to this type of business.
- Knowledge of the online recruitment market is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Google Marketing Stack and its integrations (Data Studio, Tag Manager, Optimize, Analytics) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills. You are logical, articulate, and make yourself available to others work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders who will depend on you for a technical support.

- Fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK.
