Position - IT Support Analyst

Location - City of London

Salary - £30k

Background:

My client, a specialist International LPG Logistics company, is looking for an IT Support Analyst. Reporting directly into the IT Manager, the successful candidate will be the main IT support contact, ensuring the smooth running of the desktop environment (Windows, Active Directory, MS Office, Apple and VoIP). They will also develop the required skills to support system installations, software patching and new hardware configuration, whilst adhering to and maintaining SLAs and KPIs, liaising with suppliers and working with the Singapore IT team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience.
  • Must posses excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay technical information to non-technical people.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work and perform to a high standard in highly pressurised situations.

Technical Skills\Experience in many of the following:

  • Knowledge of applications within MS office v 2013
  • Experience of working with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Microsoft Server 2008, 2012
  • Hyper-V
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 7
  • Cisco VOIP skills
  • Knowledge of supporting iPhone's
  • Expertise of Laptop/Desktop builds
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP
  • Can do attitude and approach
  • Excellent customer Service skills
  • Team Player

Experience Required:

  • IT background with practical experience in IT support in a structured environment.
  • Ability to work and perform to a high standard in pressurised situations.
