La Fosse is working with one of the UK's forward thinking digital retailers to help recruit an IT Service Manager to play a key role in their brand new IT transformation.

You will land in a modern environment where you will be given autonomy across multiple disciplines across service management and opportunities to progress within this organisation.

Location: Bradford (Hybrid model) 2 Days in office

Remuneration: £46,000 - £54,000 + Package

Your role as an IT Service Manager

  • The IT Service Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight of all technology and operations vendors, you'll very much be building relationships and facing off internally / externally.
  • As an IT Service Manager, the key areas of expertise will be managing the supplier service levels and processes - e.g., Incident / Change / Problem and Release are the keys ones.
  • You will be managing the outsource provider to make sure incidents are being dealt wit in a timely manner
  • You will partner with other areas of IT, NMP and the wider FGH business to implement and mobilise key technology contracts.
  • You will develop and deliver Supplier relationship strategies
  • The IT Service Manager will Drive supplier improvement plans to optimise performance & value including the assessment of additional services.
  • You will lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for the IT Services, including ownership of major IT Services vendors.

Ideally to be successful as an IT Service Manager

  • Experience Managing an off-shore IT Outsourced service to defined SLA and KPI targets.
  • A good working knowledge and experience of ITIL and IT operations best-practices
  • Experience of service design and transition
  • A good level of understanding and experience of key Service Operation processes (such as Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Release etc)
  • A strong track record of supplier management, including contract management and relationship management.
