La Fosse Associates are working with one of the UK's leading legal firms who are looking for an IT Project Manager to join on an initial 9 months contract paying between £50,000 - £56,000 over the duration of the 9 months. The successful candidate MUST be willing to work at least 3 days per week in the office in either Canary Wharf or The West End.

The successful candidate MUST have every single one of the below skillsets:

· Proven track record of delivering multimillion pound programmes to time, cost and quality controls

· Prince II / PMQ / PMP certification essential

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.)

· Knowledge of professional services and partnership environments advantageous

· Template management system replacement

· 64bit Microsoft Office 365 testing and implementation

· Windows image assembly

· Laptop re-image/replacement programme

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager

  • Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods

  • Outstanding leadership and management skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical staff

  • Good interpersonal skills, working closely with people at all levels in the firm

  • Ability to think and work independently, and as part of a team and to take responsibility

  • Be adaptable to changing requirements and technologies

  • A high standard of written and oral communication with attention to detail

  • Positive and robust attitude with a high level of personal motivation

Main duties and responsibilities

· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

· Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

· Ensure resource availability and allocation

· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

· Report and escalate to management as needed

· Manage the relationships with all stakeholders

· Perform risk management

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

· Prepare reports for senior management
