IT Project Manager

Exciting Technology Business are looking to grow their IT function by bringing in an IT Project Manager to oversee a variety of infrastructure based projects. The projects range from networks, testing, desktop services and 1st/2nd line support. This role will also allow the candidate the opportunity to be involved in being the lead PM on the ISO27001 Audit project and work closely with the security team. This role reports to the Head of Infrastructure and the team are based in Hull.

Please note this role requires 1 day onsite in the Hull office.

THE ROLE

• Lead on 10 IT initiatives in flight and lead on the projects to recut all the initiatives into mini projects
• Work on projects to introduce risk reduction, cost efficiency, resilience of systems, scable IT foundations and ensure all projects align with key IT strategy objectives
• Be the lead PM on networks, testing, desktop services, 1^st line/2^nd line support
• Build relationships with key stakeholders from C-Suite downward to coordinate all IT Projects
• Be involved in IT Projects which relate to M&A activities
• Be able to work on projects in either an agile or waterfall fashion dependant on what is needed

YOU

The IT Project Manager will have prior experience of:

• Have proven experience as an IT/Infrastructure Project Manager in a technology lead business
• Have strong stakeholder management experience
• Be action orientated and be able to take ownership of all projects and move things forward
• Have proven experience as working as a standalone IT PM
• Have worked as an IT PM for either a technology driven or telco business.
